Between 00:00 and 24:00, February 25,no new confirmed case of COVID-19 was reported in Jiangsu. 5 more were curedand discharged from hospital. 2 severe cases became moderate after treatment.

As of 24:00, February 25, 631 caseshave been reported in Jiangsu accumulatively, 93 of which were in Nanjing, 55in Wuxi, 79 in Xuzhou, 51 in Changzhou, 87 in Suzhou, 40 in Nantong, 48 inLianyungang, 66 in Huai’an, 27 in Yancheng, 23 in Yangzhou, 12 in Zhenjiang, 37in Taizhou, and 13 in Suqian.

168 confirmed cases are still undertreatment in hospital, 14 of which are mild cases, 149 moderate ones, 2 severeones (1 in Suzhou, and 1 in Huai’an), and 3 in critical condition (1 inNanjing, 1 in Wuxi, and 1 in Lianyungang).

463 cases have been cured anddischarged from hospital, 58 of which were in Nanjing, 42 in Wuxi, 67 inXuzhou, 41 in Changzhou, 57 in Suzhou, 35 in Nantong, 27 in Lianyungang, 46 inHuai’an, 24 in Yancheng, 17 in Yangzhou, 10 in Zhenjiang, 28 in Taizhou and 11in Suqian.

Of the traced 12,623 close contacts,489 are still under medical quarantine and 12,134 have been released.

Experts note that the situation ofepidemic prevention and control is still grave and complex. In spite ofJiangsu’s lowering the level of public health emergency response, it is stillnecessary for the general public to strengthen self-protection as the chance ofexposure to infection sources increases with various restrictive measureslifted and normal population flow restored. It is essential to keep precautionsin place, and reduce social activities and unnecessary crowd gathering;ventilate homes and offices; wear a mask when going out, especially to publicplaces with dense crowds; wash hands frequently; pay attention to food hygiene,and develop a healthy lifestyle.
