Celtics Go!

Celtics go! Celtics go!

My eyes have been glued to the screen of the tube for almost 3 hours on Jiangsu TV sports channel yesterday morning! (CCTV-5 was broadcasting live Beijing Olympic Torch Relay in Kunming) And my support finally paid off, Celtics beat Lakers again in Boston and will go to Staples Center by taking 2-0 lead! As a die-hard NBA fan, I ‘d like to say a few words about the game 2 of the final this year, whether professional or not!

For more than 40 minutes, the Celtics played like a green machine: uncharacteristically sharp and efficient on offense. But the last eight minutes almost rendered the first 40 meaningless. Up 95-71 with 7:55 to go in the game, the Celtics let the Lakers climb back to within two, 104-102 in the final minute. Boston held on though, never allowing L.A. a chance to tie as Paul Pierce (Truth) drew a foul on a drive on a critical possession with 22 seconds to go. He clearly intends to take full advantage of his first career trip to the NBA Finals.
Rajon Rondo had as many assists by himself as the Lakers did as a team. (Oh my god, he should go to Huston to help Yaoming!) If I were Phil Jackson, I can expect Farmar to get more playing time in place of Derek Fisher to guard against Rondo’s quick step. Lucky enough, Phil doesn’t realized that :}

Finally, one guy is really worth mentioning who played a pivotal role in Celtics’ yesterday win. Boston’s second-year forward Leon Powe. In Game 2, he scored a playoff-career-high 21 points in less than 25 minutes, helping the Celtics to a 2-0 Finals lead over the Lakers.

A win is a win, no matter how they played, the Celtics are where they want to be ... two wins from a championship and one step closer to the giant rings.
Oh yeah!

The Lakers will have to get up and dust themselves off after taking their licks in Bean Town. The MVP this year should also to do something for his team, not yelling to his teammates! (By the way, I respect Kobe!)

Talk to you next time!

Each morning, villagers in Bai traditional dress gather in a small market to buy and sell their produce and daily wares.

Zhoucheng Village is located below Yulong Peak and has achieved considerable wealth through its dynamic agriculture and diversified industries, the most famous of which is the art of tie-dye.

The Ancient City of Lijiang Dayan is a large area, and its center, known as Si Fang Jie (Square Street) is shaped like an official ink stone, hence its name Dayan Town (Ink Stone Town). It enjoys a long history of over 800 years and unlike most of the old towns in China, there are no city walls due to a superstitious belief of the local ruler whose family name was Mu, meaning "tree", when encircled by walls, would be Kun, meaning "besieged". Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch
Transportation: Bus

After breakfast, your CST local guide will pick you up at the hotel and accompany you to Stone Drum Village, which stands at the First Bend of the Yangtze River, some 70 kilometers west of Lijiang. Then, for nearly 20 kilometers, the river runs parallel to itself. Locals say if it were not for their village standing guard at the bend, China would lose the water of the Yangtze to Southeast Asia, like that of the adjacent Mekong and Salween Rivers.

Next proceed to Tiger Leaping Gorge, or Hutiaoxia in Chinese, is the Yangtze’s best-known gorge, right after the Three Gorges in Sichuan and Hubei. Wedged tightly between titanic cliffs, the river is so narrow here, as legend tells us, that a hunted tiger made his escape to the other side in a single bound. Here, the Jade Dragon Snow Mountains and the Haba Snow Mountains lean close to each other while large volumes of torrents moving between them cuts deeper and deeper into the bottom of the gorge. In some places there is a drop of as much as 3,000 meters to the water below.

Arrivel Shangri-la in the late afternoon, check in the hotel.Your local guide will suggest a restaurant option and shopping destination for the rest of the day.

Jiangsu TV sports channel has better commentary than that of CCTV5. Anyway, the original NBA commentators are the best!:-)Chinese ones always lack technics and enthusiasm.
Honestly, I support the Lakers. This Year, their performance really disappoints me though.
These days, the EURO CUP 08 takes up all my attention. :)I’d like to see dutchmen flying on Europe~
